Special Meetings
The Sea Lamprey and Fish Passage Work Group meeting that was scheduled for Monday, February 6 from 10:30-11:30 am EST has been canceled. The draft concepts for design and alternatives for Union Street Dam from the Army Corps and URS are not yet available. The document will hopefully be sent out before the March 5 meeting along with the USFWS's acceptable timeline for removal of Sabin Dam.

The US Army Corps of Engineers will lead a working meeting to discuss the Boardman River ecosystem restoration project including the alternatives being considered, preliminary costs and preliminary habitat benefits on Wednesday January 25 from 9:30-11:30 am at CRA's Conference Room, 10850 Traverse Hwy, TC, MI 49684.
The following topics will be discussed:
· review of progress to date
· conceptual plans for modification of Union Street Dam, removal of Sabin dam and removal of Boardman dam
· sea lamprey and sturgeon passage at Union Street Dam
· Cass Road Bridge over the Boardman River
· any other topics the City, County or IT would like to discuss

Due to the increased volume of work being performed on the Boardman project, the IT has decided to hold monthly meetings beginning Thursday, August 18th.
All meetings are open to the public, held the third Thursday of every month (except for November 2012 meeting), from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Traverse City Governmental Center, Commission Chambers, 400 Boardman Avenue, Traverse City, MI unless otherwise noted.
